  教育背景:

  1982年清华大学本科毕业

  1985年获天津大学硕士学位

  1988年获中国水利水电科学研究院博士

  工作履历:

  1988年至1990年曾任天津大学水资源与港湾工程系讲师

  1990年至1995年在英国Bardford大学做博士后、研究员

  1996年至1997年任英国Babtie工程和环境咨询公司高级工程师

  1997年至2010年在英国卡迪夫大学任职,2007年晋升为教授

  2006年至2008年被聘为北京师范大学985兼职教授,入选国家第三批千人计划

  2011年来校工作,任水利系教授

  研究领域:

  主要从事计算流体力学、明渠湍流、泥沙运动和环境流体力学模拟等领域的研究工作。

  研究概况:

  工程应用方面涉及洪水预测、河口水质模拟、潮汐发电和水环境评估等,包括在河口复杂水动力环境下的水、沙、污染物和微生物耦合关系。 数学模型被应用在英国主要河口的环境影响评估研究。

  主持或参与研究项目34个,其中50%为英国基金委项目。发表论文余150篇,其中SCI收录50余篇、EI收录40余篇。指导博士生20余名,其中16人已获得博士学位。2007年被英国Bradford大学授予高级工程博士学位(Doctor of Engineering)。2008年起成为世界著名工程咨询公司奥雅纳集团公司(Ove Arup)水环境部门的专业顾问。
