  8、目前主要科学研究领域和兴趣

  主要探讨癫痫、多发性硬化症等神经系统离子通道病的发病机制,并针对新发现的离子通道药物靶标开展多肽药物研发,揭示多肽毒素与神经系统离子通道病相关的膜通道及受体相互作用机制。同时,在国内外率先开展了将人泡沫病毒作为载体进行神经退行性疾病的基因治疗研究。研究工作获得国家基金委、科技部、教育部等部委的持续资助,先后主持国家自然科学基金5项、省部级课题6项,同时参与国家科技部973计划项目及重大新药创制专项课题的研究。共发表SCI论文四十余篇,并参与多部专著(含英文专著一部)的编写。研究成果获国家专利2项,军队科技进步三等奖、湖北省自然科学三等奖、武汉市科技进步二等奖、湖北省自然科学优秀学术论文一等奖各1项。2004年荣获湖北省青年杰出人才基金资助,2007年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才计划,并担任中国病理生理生理学会理事、湖北省暨武汉市病理生理学会副理事长等学术职务。

  系统承担不同专业医学本科生、研究生的病理生理学理论和实验教学,主编教材1部,参编教材3部,发表教学论文5篇,主持省级教学研究项目1项,并作为骨干教师参与医学机能实验学国家级教学团队,已培养博士、硕士研究生各10余名
