  Basic Information


  Biography

Professor Liu, the faculty member of the Department of Astronautical Science and Mechanics at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). She obtained her PhD degree in the field of Materials from Centre for Composite Materials & Structures of HIT, China in 1999. From 1999 to 2005, she was a research fellow at Nanyang Technological University, and Newcastle University, respectively. Until now, she has authored or co-authored 4 book chapters, 13 issued patents, and over 150 scientific papers in different journals and conference proceedings.

  Education

B.Sc in the field of Chemistry at Heilongjiang University, 1989-1993.

M.Sc at the Centre for Composite Materials & Structures of Harbin Institute of Technology, 1993-1996.

Ph.D degree in the field of Materials from the Centre for Composite Materials & Structures of Harbin Institute of Technology,1996-1999.

  Professional Memberships

Member of Asia-Pacific Committee on Smart and Nano Materials(APCSNM); Member of the International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE); Member of conference organizing committee at 2007/2009/2011 SPIE International Conference on Smart Materials and Nanotechnology in Engineering; Reviewer of Journals such as Composite Science and Technology, Optics and Lasers in Engineering and Displays. Associate editor of Smart materials and Structures.
