  龚旗煌,男,1964年8月生,汉族,福建省莆田市人。1983年毕业于北京大学物理系,1989年获北京大学物理系博士学位(中英联合培养)。2013年当选为中国科学院信息技术科学部院士。北京大学首批长江特聘教授。人工微结构和介观物理国家重点实验室主任,北京大学物理学院副院长和现代光学所所长,兼任中科院——北京大学超快光科学和激光物理联合中心副主任,北京大学光电研究中心主任,北京大学发展规划部副部长。

  1995年获国家自然科学基金委“杰出青年科学基金”资助,任国家自然科学基金委“创新研究群体”学术带头人和国家973项目首席科学家。研究领域为非线性光学及超快光子学。从1983年起,从事非线性光学前沿与时空小尺度光学研究,从物性、新效应及应用等方面开展了系统性的创新研究。提出通过激发态电荷快速转移实现超快及巨大三阶非线性光学响应的新方法,实现了高性能超快低阈值全光开关;开拓飞秒/纳米时空高分辨光学测量,实现纳微结构超快光调控及电子态的人工调控。发表论文300余篇,SCI他引2400余次。授权发明专利16项,在纳米光子学会议、非线性光学材料器件会议等国际重要系列会议作邀请报告40余次。2011年获得国家自然科学二等奖(第一完成人)、2003年获北京市科学技术一等奖(第一完成人)、1996年获中国光学学会“王大珩光学奖”、1997年获香港求是科技基金会“杰出青年学者奖”、2005年获中国物理学会“饶毓泰物理奖”。他还获得国务院“政府特殊津贴”、“北京市十大杰出青年”、“中国青年科技奖”、“全国优秀留学归国人员”、“做出突出贡献中国博士学位获得者”、“全国优秀博士后奖”、“全国优秀科技工作者”和中国侨界“创新团队奖”及“全国优秀归侨”等荣誉和称号。入选人事部等七部委全国“百千万人才工程”95/96年第一、二层次人选。入选首批“百千万人才工程”领军人才(万人计划)。

  现任国际刊物Chemical Physics编委,《中国科学G报》常务副主编,《科学通报》,《物理学报》,Chin. Opt. Lett.和Chin. Phys. B等刊物副主编;曾任Opt. Lett.和Chemical Phys. Lett.编委。担任国际物理与应用物理联合会(IUPAP)量子电子学专委会委员和美国光学学会(OSA)Fellow遴选委员会委员等职。兼任第六届国务院学位委员会物理,天文学科评议组成员;国家基金委信息学部专家咨询委员;中国光学学会副理事长兼秘书长、基础光学专业委员会主任;中国物理学会常务理事兼国际交流委员会主任;北京光学学会副理事长。当选美国光学学会Fellow和英国物理学会Fellow。
